79ers Introduce Fall 3v3 Tour

The tour made the game more accessible to players in multiple locations by bringing the action to them, and reinforced the USLacrosse concept of small-sided games for competition to help develop the skills needed to advance the individual athletes. Experienced box lacrosse coaches were brought in to help teach through the faster aspects of the games.

The games featured smaller 4' by 4' box goals with targets, really forcing the shooters to be able to pick their spots and improve their inside shooting. The ball stayed in play in the dek hockey rink, so the continuous action kept the athletes engaged and constantly moving, and added another dimension to loose ball play.
