2024 Summer Travel Team

Thank you for your interest in the 79ers Lacrosse Club! Our program's mission is to grow the game of Western PA lacrosse by giving our players an opportunity to play year round. They will receive coaching from US Lacrosse certified coaches many of whom are past collegiate athletes and current college, high school or youth coaches. Be sure to check out our coaches bios! If you make the team that spot is yours until you graduate or choose to no longer player. Our program is a family, all teams (youth and high school) will attend one tournament together, we have organized team dinners and groups attending PLL games, and we end our summer season with a picnic celebration!

YOU PAY $25 TO REGISTER FOR A 90 MINUTE TRYOUT
WE WILL LET YOU KNOW IF YOU MADE THE TRAVEL TEAM OR NOT.
You have a choice to accept or decline
If you accept you will complete the registration and then you can choose a payment plan or lump sum.

A look at our travel program and what we offer...

The Pittsburgh 79ers are a developmental and competitive lacrosse club primarily serving Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas. We are entering our 7th year and have expanded from 3 youth teams to currently fielding 10 teams beginning at 2033 through 2025’s.

Our main goal is to educate and develop our players. From offering excellent coaching, a comprehensive training including strength and conditioning workouts, to hosting local scrimmages, selecting the best tournament destinations, and attaining turf practices. Our program mission is to improve our players, keep them playing year round, instilling confidence both on and off the field and creating friendships between teammates and coaches.
